We are only a 5 minute drive from the racecourse and can give you a lovely room. There is a lot going on here, from the Welsh Grand National to family fun days there is something for everyone.
The biggest event on the calendar here is the Welsh Grand National. It attracts people from all over the country and has a spectacular atmosphere. With many of the country’s best jockeys and horses competing it is an event you won’t want to miss. The meeting is now held the day after Boxing Day every year and is a great spectacle.
Chepstow racecourse also plays host to the Chepstow agricultural society show. Here you can see some of the area’s best rural trades and talents. With 100’s of classes competing to win there is a lot to see. There is categories ranging from best flock of sheep to best baled hay. So if agriculture is your cup of tea it’ll be a great day out. Another popular day out is the family fun days that are held at the racecourse. Here the kids can get in free and whilst you enjoy the races there is plenty for them to do. With bouncy castles and face painting there is plenty to keep the kids happy. And should they be interested there is even a circus skills workshop.
